Quickbooks 2008 December 7, 2008 John B (UK) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
QuickBooks is a great product that allows me to manage my accounting.
The reports you can generate are fantastic and gave me a real insight into various areas of my business.
The product was easy to set up and start using it is very intuitive and easy to use.
I was concerned seeing some of the VAT comments on Amazon but I have had no issues with the vat calculations.
All in all a great product for managing your business.

Have used QuickBooks for about 10 years. It is by far the easiest and most complete accounting package for small business (under £100,000) on the market.QuickBooks SimpleStart 2008
Accounting Made Easy December 28, 2008 M. N. Uddin (UK) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is accounting software at its best which couldn't be easier to use.
I've been using QuickBooks for a little over a year and have never looked back. Having an accountant background I rate QuickBooks far above rival products.
The ease of producing/reversing journals is a really good feature on this version as is payroll made easy.
I use Excel/Word quite a bit and transferring data is very simple.
Would def recommend this product to anyone wishing to make their life easy, save time and money.
Run a small business then you need this October 17, 2008 Glen Allan (Renfrewshire, Scotland) 13 out of 16 found this review helpful
I really don't know how they have managed to pack so many useful features into one piece of software.
I like that the software uses a visual flow process to walk you through the stages of cash flow through a business.
Tracking bills, invoice and money. Where it's going and where the bottom line could be in a couple of months (forecasting)
I like the fact that you can send your file at year end to your accountant for tax returns and annual accounts. (you should make back the cost of this software in the money you save from using your accountant to do the donkey work)
Not cheap but worth every penny, good online support and plenty of other books and training packs that you can buy to supplement it if you want to.
This is the full UK version and installed with no problems and hasn't fell over once.
If you run a small or medium sized business it might provide you with some of the discipline required to manage your cashflow effectively (especially important in todays economic climate)
Highly recommended.
Good for what we need July 3, 2009 Mrs. M. Smith 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
it is a good programme for completing the accounts for a medium sized charity - has everything you need and in our opinion much easier and better than Sage.
