Had a little issue with overheating and trawled through the ways to keep this Acer 15.5" notebook cool.
This is silent and the exhaust vent on the notebook is cool!!!!
I use it on a desk but I like the contoured style if I want to sit up in bed or in a chair.
Note book is secure and frees the front where the sound jacks are.
Slim enough to put into a case with the notebook.
Am I pleased? Just bought one for my daughter who leaves hers on the sofa or bed!!!!
Question in my head is why don't they build these things in as an add on to the notebook design?

Before buying this product, I made a price comparison and review quality of similar products. I think I make the right decision and absolutely it's worth the money.
Pro:
+ Excellent Design: Your laptop firmly lie on the cooling pad, the wire of usb may be easily to be hidden. The cooling area is big enough for the whole laptop even though your laptop is not central at the cooling area.
+Fan Noise: No Problem at all for the noise of the fans cause. It couldn't be more quiet.
+Weight: The Weight of the pad is fairly light so you feel comfortable to keep it on your leap.
+Warranty: You have 1 year warranty of Logitech for the pad.
Cons:
+ At the moment, I couldn't find any at all. I would highly recommend this product to other consumers.

I just bought the pad three weeks ago and it really does the job. My macbook does not get as warm as it used to. I like it very much that the fan is really silent (I can barely hear it) and does not suck up much battery. Plus, the pad makes it really comfortable to type with the computer on my lap. Great purchase so far.

I bought this for my 15.6" notebook, but haven't been able to use yet as my mother has "pinched it" for her 17" laptop!!!!! But is does work and the slight angle makes typing easier!

This item solves any heating problems in my laptop... After I bought this one, I used it right away to test if there is any problems but after using it I was very satisfied with the results... The heating problems in my laptop was gone and I really like the product... Hopefully they will have new colors for this cooling fan as I am planning to buy my dream laptop soon... Thank you amazon for advertising this product... This is for keeps... I recommend this to all buyers having heating problems with their laptops... =)
