Customer Reviews:
5 out of 5 stars understanding Obamas campaign by social media   March 4, 2010
KJ Mansfield (Swansea, Wales)
Excellent, interesting, easy read of understanding how Obama and his team used technology of social media to help him become president of USA.

2 out of 5 stars Not What I Expected   July 13, 2009
A. Naisbitt

I bought this book along with others on the subject of social networking and thought I'd get an insight into the mechanisms behind the success of the Obama online campaign. Whilst this was there to a degree, the book really came across as more of a back slapping exercise with tales of how hard everyone worked and how proud they were of what they achieved.

If you're interested in the campaign itself and the road to the Presidency, you'll probably find this book a good read. If you're looking for an insight into the technologies that worked and a focus on the social media successes, it's going to leave you slightly unfulfilled.
